Imagine just knowing the only thing accomplished in your whole life was to build, race, and keep track of marbles. That is unbelievable. I guess it beats other addictions..
matter of personal opinion/value. I know people who think i'm crazy because i spend some of my weekends in the winter, out in the cold, sliding down a snow covered mountain. If he loves marbles, and thinks its worth his time, by all means, have at it.
i really think it has to do with autism too... highly functioning autism can result in memorization, calculations, impractical addictions.
A kid in my high school memorized the school directory, could tell you every ones phone number, home cell, mothers work, and emergency number... it was kind of crazy but i see simulates in the personalities of the two.
o and he could also tell our sports facts like what year i wore what jersey. /rambling
