oh totally the kids fault, but this old guy just handled the situation in the complete wrong way, im amazed that those kids did not lose their cool. lol when he asks the kid to see his pass, the kid is a fucking employee and has the right to take the old guys fucking pass. it just pisses me right off when people who are older feel they have a right to be in charge when really he is on a mountain in which kids are the majority and in this case definatley knew how to handle the situation better than he did

well. i should say, dude definitely overreacted. but that kid should not be working at that mountain anymore. what if that had been a little kid hed taken out, they could be seriously hurt.

First off, the skier that came from the trees shouldn't have gone straight across a blind run (looks like a busy run also) He should have obviously slowed down and waited or merged on. But that guy was a asshole, after he chucked the other guys ski, I was pissed off. Way to keep your cool guys!

if i didn't beat the guy's ass after the shove, the ski-toss would have really warranted an ass kicking on my behalf. yeah the employee was in the wrong, but shit he couldn't have been any nicer to the guy, accidents happen...

yea it was the kids fault but accidents happen, theres really nothing you can do to stop things like that. If the old man was hurt it would be one thing but he got up immediate and freaked out.

Lol. I've seen this situation before...

Happened to me 2 seasons ago at Heavenly. I was coming out of some trees, went over this roller sorta, and some guy was just standing there in the middle of the run on the other side.. I tried to avert collision, but i was going pretty fast - and it wasnt a slow zone so i had no reason to slow down before the knoll.

Either way, i ran into the guy... and flew pretty good... lost all my stuff. All of a sudden this guy comes running at me yelling and doing basically the same stuff that this dude sorta did - only this guy decided that trying to punch me would be a good idea...

Personally, i think it was his fault for standing in the middle of the run on the other side of a hill. That's like stopping on the freeway in my opinion...

It wasnt even the aussie coming out of the trees fault, his friend told him it was clear to drop so it was really kind of his fault, even though tree kid could have been more careful... As for the old man, hes lucky he didnt do that to a hot head otherwise shit woulda gotten ugly

wow if your gonna freak out like that from an accident like that you shouldnt be skiing, accidents are a part of skiing and if you cant keep your cool after a mistake that left nobody hurt you just need to get the fuck off the mountain. it may have been more the kids fault, but that old man fucked up way more by being the biggest prick ever.
its always funny when you see kids being the bigger man than the old guy twice their age. they kept their cool, while he flipped out like a junior high girl.

haha wow that guy was really intense. I can understand being upset, even talking to a supervisor, but that was horrible and the uphill skier/employee was repentant. It is funny though, speaking of Sean's incident, how many people don't read the part of the rules and guidelines that says you shouldn't stop in the middle of a slope on the downhill portion of a knoll or roller. Some guy got all upset with my buddy for the same thing. He skied down to him at the bottom and started getting worked up about it until my friend kindly pointed out that in fact the other skier was at fault and should apologize to him.

But this one was pretty awesome and I'm surprised no one got hurt.

well i believe that the kid who was coming out of the trees is not at fault, nor is the guy who got hit. the kid who was recording gave the kid skiing the go-ahead and did not see the guy skiing down the hill so i would say it is the filmers fault. but the guy definitely overreacted, especially because the kid who hit him asked if he was okay and was appologizing

That guy over reacted and everything he did was unnecessary. If I was that kid the guy woulda been sorry he pushed me. But also that kid should have been more cautious and not just fly out like that because that's how most accident happen. What made him think he could pull his pass? And odds are that guy didn't remember his name when he reached the bottom.

I love how he immediately asks for the kid's pass even though he is not an employee.

If I was the kid, I would have argued that I was the downhill skier thus giving me the right of way and making him at fault.  (The kid was clearly at fault though).

The guy says something about lawyers (I can't make it out), but why would that even matter?  Clearly neither party is injured, and it doesn't appear that he sustained any property damage so then what the hell would be the basis for a lawsuit?
