Turf questions

Turf for a summer setup, is it better to get taller turf, shorter turf or does it not make a difference?  If it makes a difference how big of a difference is it?

no difference, if there is, its hardly noticable, just go with the cheepest stuff/whatever is free

no problem, better yet, drive around a neighborhood and look for people throwing out old carpet, just grab a roll of it and you have your landing and then some all for free

Wouldn't carpet get really dirty and then the dirt get in my bases?

nope, mine hasnt, just roll it out and throw some water on it, it will be fine, and if you're worrying about your bases getting dirty, you might want to re-think the whole backyard setup, cause they will get dirty and beat up just like urban skis

yeah with how much water youll be constantly putting on it, it will never get dirty. Turf is faster, but, like he said, carpet is free. it all depends on your level of funds.
