Lexapro For Skiing?

One of my friends takes Lexapro for anxiety. She says that it helps calm her in situations where before she would get all nervous. That got me thinking, what if you took Lexapro to overcome some of the anxiety that comes with skiing? You wouldn't take it so that you would go out and huck your meat and try a dub 12 right off the bat. But maybe it would help calm your nerves before trying say your first cork 9 of the day. I'm not seriously considering this, this thought just popped into my mind after talking to my friend.

I take something similiar. Well its my ADD medication but it makes me impulsive and crazy and not over think things so it helps. Go for it as long as it doesnt give you crazy side effects.

that's a terrible idea. lexapro takes like a month+ to really start to "work", so unless you want to pop pills everyday, then it's not going to help your problem. if you need to calm your nerves, smoke a joint, pop a bar, pound a few beers, do something that is going to have a more instantaneous effect.

i dunno though, the "anxiety" i get before huckin' my meat is what makes skiing dope imo...right after you do it....shit's a rush.

or oxytocin nasal spray, read about that in a ski magazine about 3 years ago maybe, now on their website it says increases sex drive.....
