WTF Pokemon

I'm just wondering WHAT THE FUCK is up with pokemon these days. It seems like every time i walk into study hall or lunch someone's playing pokemon on there fucking itouch. What is so interesting about it that everyone wants to play it again? Why do kids waste there time on a gay childrens game?

I picked up my gameboy like 2 weeks ago, i had mario for it and started playing, i got addicted and ran out and bought 3 more games including pokemon silver... today ive loged 24 hours in pokemon since last week and 10 other kids have seen my gameboy at school and gotten theirs out or even bought them... i don't know if this is an isolated event or if it is some kind of nintendo plot... that once you reach 10 years after playing your last game of pokemon the plastic of the gameboy gets into your blood and triggers an addiction...

this is fine with me if you actually take the effort to your gameboy out and play but kids in my school have it on there fucking ipods and its really fucking annoying when they ask each other what level their pokemon are

because we are the generation that grew up playing pokemon, and now people are starting to realize that  the games can get pretty damn complex and fun, why would you NOT play pokemon?

Go buy a fucking Nintendo Gameboy Advance SP for $30. Christ. The originals up to Emerald are the only ones worth playing anyway, the new ones blow chode.

Well, anyway I only played Pokemon Blue through once and it was OK, don't see the desire to collect 'em all myself, but actually I would prefer to play me some Pokemon over Halo or MW2.

Go back to the roots and play those. I THINK I speak for a lot of the people who still play Pokemon, but the originals are so much better, and what I feel like are the "real" Pokemon? I know that sounds kind of dumb, but oh well.

Right there, and Pokemon has such a high replay value, I think they did. Pokemon is the kind of game where you can pick it up when you are eight, not understand anything, pick it back up in seven years and have a blast trying new things.

Its pretty simple really. In card game nerdom, there is a clear hierarchy. Real nerds play the OG, far superior game of Magic. Far, far down the ladder (if it is even the same ladder) you get pokemon, played by a bunch of bitches. The bottom is Yugioh or whatever the fuck it is, played by a bunch of total young bitches who think it is awesome when it clearly is not. To sum up: magic shits on all.
