longstory short.

i have a rather small car.
my college is rather small also.
so there is one main hallway that comes to a T for all the classrooms.

we want to take my car. lift it up the service entrance dock, and roll it down to the T, make it diagonale to block off all 3 hallways. lock it with the keys in it (i would have a spare of course) and have the E break pulled.

i would report my keys missing today. and we would do this sunday night. and my RA would say we were with him that night.

the only thing is, would they be able to hold my car for a length of time? cuz i have to leave campus on the 5th for good.

Not 17 and I don't foresee him going to jail over a prank such as that... i think all they would bother ticketing him for is trespassing. I guess it depends on what school you go to and how well you plan it out. If you go to a small liberal school you could probably get away with it with just a slap on the wrist... a bigger university might not tolerate it as much. And if you have an alibi (with your RA) and you say you left your keys in your car and the car disappeared from a parking lot without cameras you could probably pull it off.

Have you ever been a Dean of Students/Chancellor/Important school figure who has decided whether or not to press charges against someone who put their car, registered in their name, inside their college?

Sounds like he goes to a school that is pretty laid back... doubt they would care too much about it... chances are they'll find it before class starts that day, get it open, move it, find the owner and not much will happen from their if he has his bases covered.

I'm guessing you're one of those kids who never enjoyed pulling a good prank in highschool.

Honestly, it would be funny, but probably not funny enough to risk it. Get one of your friends (who I'm sure are all for you doing this with YOUR car) to do it with their car. Bottom line, never do shit like this with things that belong to you. Manipulate someone dumber than you and use their stuff.

somewhat of a similar story:

a friend of a friend at a neighboring high school a couple of years ago rode his dirtbike through the halls 3 days before the end of his senior year as a prank. they expelled him. 3 days until the end! just for taking a quick pass down the hall

now imagine how university administration would punish you. you're not just driving it through, you're leaving it. fire hazards are not to be messed with.
