I like the first one it's got a more relaxed peaceful glow to it but at the same time it's a skateboard an action sport and the 2 come together really well, I like it dude
1st. give more depth! as everyone else said, reposition first of all
but it would be nice to have a bit more length and depth. maybe if you shot down the skateboard more that would be a nice transition from fore to back. keep the rule of thirds in your composition, if you ahve a rule of 1/3's option for your display, put it on.
maybe try using some post process as well.B+W lets the eyes focus only on the composition and action and might look good. a little levels touch up and possibly a slight vig would be nice.

not really a fan. i don't wanna go too much into it, except to say that I just think it's too busy. post some more and we can see if composition issues are a trend or just a one time thing for you. either way both shots show some prospects and potential. good stuff.
