This is my 6th year skiing and i have been going in the terrian park for a while now. Me and my friends built this backcountry kicker so we could learn some new tricks. This is my first 360. I am looking to take this to a larger ramp in the terrain park soon. Please give me advise.

A-D-V-I-C-E. There is number one. Number 2, control your arms and either possibly throw in a grab. When you go to the bigger jump be sure to not overotate, because I know right now it seems like you need to chuck your body to get the rotation, be more relaxed and just let it go.

never shake a lava lamp.  Once you do the oil inside takes forever to settle.

Yeah as the guy above said, be absolutely sure not to overrotate. Also, as you are still just learning, keep your eyes up on the horizon. once you get comfortable you can easily break this habit and get some grabs.

The landing of any trick on skis with what appears to be extreme steeze. Usually done by placing hands by waist in front or behind and leaning back in a relaxed stance. See Tom Wallish...

you just have to keep doing what your doing man, just keep trying and it will get easier and easier each time.  just think about moving with your head and shoulders and your body will follow.

one: equipment. if you're going to pursue this. you'll need twin tips. it doesnt look like you own any. also if you dont have nice boots that fit right and are comfy and not packed out. get some of those too if possible.

two. composure. dont flail your arms. wider stance. practice will help with this. it will only help in the air and the next tip...

three. center of gravity. it ties in with composure. keeps your knees bent, this will keep you more balanced in the air. throwing in a safety grab in the beginning usually helps with this and the stopping of the flailing of arms.

four. definitely afterbang.

Chest up, don't be hunched over taking off. Make sure your shins are pressing against the front of your boots and push your hips a little more forwards. Also, get your hands more in front, right now they are really wide and out to the side. Put them more directly in front of you like you are holding a steering wheel driving a car. Not straight out, have some bend in them. Then just keep practicing and te more you do it the more comfortable you will become and the better your 3's will look.

Try this one:

A term invented by snowboarders in 2002 that meant "making up for a shitty trick by attempting to look relaxed and comfortable upon landing". So looked down upon that the collective "Robot Food" named a movie "afterbang" for the sake of making fun of it.

Later adopted by skiers, (circa 2007) assumed to be a good thing. Associated with the skier Tom Wallisch based on jokes people didn't understand.

for your sake, don't get hung up on the kids talking about afterbang.

That was your first 3, of course it looks haggard. Just do more, get more comfortable with it. you have to start somewhere.

I think that there is a lot of good advice on this thread. I just want ta tell you that you don't have to throw your body so hard. 90 percent of the spin is your head. If that gets around then your body will follow so just bring your head around and let the rest of your body relax more. And don't worry to much about style. It was your 1st one. It gets easier!

dude full tilts will help you land that more easily. dont bother going to a boot-fitter tho because it doesnt matter if they dont fit, you just need to look cool and the skill will come with it.
