just wanted to say thanks to all the homies that sent walker gus kevin duncan and I out here. We're all very appreciative and we all skied our asses off to make a good edit for you guys. I had a LOT of fucking fun and learned SO much! Biggups to Jon for putting this shit on. So many things that were inevitably going to go wrong, did go wrong (including this volcano that has us stuck in sweden) and Jon, Peter and the rest of the crew kept it legit. There's always gunna be controversy in such a subjective contest, especially when you and a few good friends film and ski your very hardest for 2 straight weeks and try your VERY best, but I couldnt be happier for canada and their extremely heavy pan... Hope you guys enjoy all the edits as well as our own. Imma bout to watch it right meow.

Thanks for being such a humble and modest class-act. There's no one else that would have been better suited or more deserving of representing NS at JOSS.

Congrats to you guys for stepping up to the plate and giving some of the biggest names in the world a run for their money. This is one of the best warm and fuzzy feel good moments in NS history.

I have to say that honestly I was a bit pissed off when team NS was selected, that it ended up being all north americans when there were really strong entries from Oskari, Pekka and L Favre in there amongst others. I've always been a big fan of LJ but i wasn't fully convinced about Gus and Walker (i thought pekka had bigger dubs, and laurent had a really unique style). Initially I wasn't as stoked on supporting team NS as i hoped i would be....

BUT... then when the nstv edits from Joss started coming out, in every shot the only team to always be fully smiling and super pumped to be there was team NS, you could see the level of energy and committment these guys had, and I was totally won over. From LJ trying to candide the hip, through to Gus getting biggest slam demonstrates how hard the team were pushing it. It also seemed that the team really got on well together, filmers included, and knowing how good Duncan and Kevin are from watching every edit they have each ever put out I think they are not gonna dissappoint.

I am fully stoked that whilst there has been controversey around team america, it is team NS (effectively the team of the ski community) who came out of this event with recognition for their great attitutde and committment... it sets an example to those out there who might take competing in a comp such as this for granted.

I don't thin it should be team NS thanking us, I think we should be thanking them, for killing it so hard for two weeks in our name, to say you did us proud doesn't even come close,
