My Wifi is Slow

Can anyone help me make my wifi faster then it already is. Its really slow and have to wait awhile to watch a youtube video or something. I have a MacBook Pro too. I know this is pointless and I'm going to getting hated on with my o.k. grammar.

my macbook (regular one) had perfect reception all over my house then all the sudden it needs to be at most 10 feet from the router to even work and sometimes when i am that close the wifi will just randomly reset. my moms pc laptop still gets great reception all over the house.

Wifi is at 11mb, 54mb or 108mb. Internet is likely less than 1mb. It's not your wifi that is the problem. It's your shitty mac. Just kidding. But seriously. Get a real computer.
