Gnarlyest crash of your season?

Mine was on Saturday skiing with K_M, Micah and TJ from the sports creel.

so here we are skiing the rock chutes i come hauling down into some wacky variable snow one of my skis ejects there then i proceed to mob right into a tree with my leg thus causing my other ski to eject and javelining about 40 feet down the hill to sticking out of the snow and i end up wrapped around the only tree within 100 feet and i am surprised that my acl / leg is not broken.

Lol, First day riding on powder snow. Had pretty small skis. I was going pretty fast and saw a ''kicker'' on a small drop. I saw that somebody have alredy rode it. So there i go, trying to land on powder snow and boom, skis were off and i hit my face on snow. Ouch it wasnt funny :D

there was a 20ft gab step up onto a rail so i went to 450 onto it. i over spun and landed right on my nut sack then fell onto my head after. luckly a was wearin a helmet but it still wasn't a joy ride at all haha

i did it on a small table, prob not more than 20 feet. i don't think i knew i was going to come up short and just barely hooked my tip. didn't have any chance of getting my hands in front of me and went completely straight to my face. it was at night too, so the snow was pretty solid.

the worst part was undoubtedly the hole in my tongue. everything else has pretty much healed and the tongue still hasn't closed. i think i am going to have a permanent little flesh flap on it. seriously.

It was either my first attempt at a 3 or a 5 I'm not quite sure off of a jump at 7 Springs.  I hadn't landed either yet and it was the same for this attempt.  basically I jumped for some reason before the lip and got about 90 around when the side of my ski hits the lip and sends me head over heels to the landing.  Luckily it was a smaller jump.  It was pretty funny afterward though.

was going for a 630 out of an up rail and twisted up too hard and came too fast into the rail super manned onto my chest on flat and flew through the air. Knocked the wind out sooo bad. Hopefully the worst of the season. knock on wood.

So I'm shreddin some powder on a pow day when i see a perfect pre made jump, supported by a log! Before thinking about it, i hit it. Turns out to be just a log and a thin layer of snow that looked like a jump. My skis popped off right after my legs to the blow and went flying. Damn tricksters

sugarbush mtn, thought i had the speed figured out for their shit jumps, went for a japan 3, i cased pretty bad awkwardly, open my eyes and find myself in the air again WTF? turns out I straight up bounced off the knuckle and cleared the rest of the landing to flat, hella icy too. just grabbed both my skis that ejected and crawled to the side of the trail and took a nap.

not even the gnarlyest fall ive ever done, but i dislocated my collarbone coming off a corrugated. caught my edge, flew, landed directly on the shoulder. then writhed in agony on the snow for a few minutes.

Bombed it down the only double black at my hill. It was pretty much slush so I started to realized I couldn't slow down. Hit a few bumps and tomahawked a few times. Thank god the snow was so soft or I would have broken everything. People on the lift gave me a huge ovation, I claimed it like a champ.

My gopro survived the fall on my head. Too bad it wasn't on :(

First rotation attempt of the season. Got halfway around and started to spot my landing. Realized that I was going to overshoot badly and opened up. Landed switch and hyperextended my lower back. Laid flat on my back for 3 days.

tried to gap the down part of an up down rail the up part was sticky as fuck and when i hit it haulin ass i got stuck right before I popped off spazzed out in the air one ski clipped the end on the rail did a half backflip landed on my back and smacked my head off some east coast ice i was left with a concussion and a little more retarded then before

Gnarliest crash of my season would probably be going to knuckle on the last jump in the dew tour park. It was fast at the begining of the day then slowed way down. I didnt get hurt or anything just real sore

practicing some new grabs to change up my 3s, i went to point my skis down for blunt and lost my balance immediately off the lip. landed 3/4 down an icy landing with one foot sideways and behind me. thrown onto my back somehow and scraped my arm up real good on the crushed ice that acts like shards of glass when youre wearing a tshirt. im surprised my knees were fine the next day. one was twisted around, the other slammed into ice and immediately swelled.

2 on A-box. I overshoted it. I was supposed to land on the end and i felt so badly. It was at end of season and snow was like superhard after freezing night. Couldn't walk for week.

Nice sunny day on the last week of march during reading break. I landed my first rodeo 7s of the season that day, and had them on lock pretty much every run.
Two jump line so i was going switch 5 tail and then rodeo 7 mute. So i land my run fine and going back up I think I have to bring the level up a bit, there's a comp in a week so I need something decent.
So I had my run in mind, switch 9 tail and then rodeo 9. So I go at it. First jump switch 9 stomped at the bottom of the landing, so I'm pumped going into the second jump. But I was going too fast and didn't pop enough... so I ended up "overspinning" it to a 10, but "underflipping" it.

So I basically landed straight on my back.
10% compression fracture of the L1 vertebrae, and a small fracture on the D12.

Season over.
But i CAN WALK. So I feel absolutely awesome, especially everytime I see someone in a wheel chair.

came up short on an XL doing 3's and spun too early and got caught up and i was lying flat out and hit the knuckle on my back.

i caught my toe edge on the double kink at keystone. hooked hard and went down over the rail right in my stomach. it made me throw up in my mouth a little. i rode over to the side of the trail and just sat down for probably 15 minutes.


worse than was i broke my nose. i was riding a board with a ripped out edge, and little pieces of it were hanging, so when i turned or stopped heelside i had to lift up my toes super far so the edge didnt catch.  i had just stomped this 5, literally was riding down the bottom of the jump, when i went to go ride off the side and i caught my toes and scorpioned so fucking hard

oh, i forgot about all the pow riding i got to do this year.

Most painful: skiing blazed i hugged a tree. just making pow turns and caught a ski and it sent me right into a tree, sucked hard.

funniest: in a pillow line i dropped, bounced a bit too much and went backseat, backslapped, then went too far front seat, hit the next pillow, super man fronted onto my back then skied away. all in 20+ inches of fresh.

nosesliding a down flat box on a snowboard the 7th day my local hill was open...fell off and broke my arm haha it was majorly lame. I got a good 6 days riding in on the bunny hill prior to this haha.

overshot a 40 footer right to flat. Landed straight on my back and head and my skis didnt pop off cause they never touched the ground. broke 5 ribs, bruised my kidney and got a concusion

Worst injury: Hit a windlip doing a flat 3 and didnt watch my landing cause i barely got any air so when brought it around i landed right in a small hole and tore my meniscus.

Worst fall: over rotated a 3 and caught an edge. i just shot straight up in the air for somereason and came down flat on my head after a tomohawk or two. only resulted in a soar neck.

throwin a basic 3 off a tiny jump and didnt realize how close i was to the ski lift pole . i got about 90 around before both of the back of my skis hit the pole. it popped both my skis off so quick i didnt even realize an kept spinning in air with no skis. so imagine a retard jumpin in the air holding two ski poles and trying to spin....yup thats what i looked like......an yes people on the lift laughed ......hard

I was really lucky this season this year. Just a few minor bruises.

I was hitting a 50 step and a kid was sitting in the landing with his skis on, i hit him before i landed and took his skis off and i tomahawked twice and slid 20 meters. I had bruise the size of an appetizer dish on my hip that was purple for a week after that

I over shot the landing for a cliff and double ejected and tomahawked and hit a tree and fell into a little tree well.
