ON3P - Worst Topsheet Ever Contest!

The guys at ON3P have decided it is time for a little twist on the topsheet contests, and are now running looking for the Worst designs you can think of for a ski. Check out the rules and details here (https://newschoolers.com/web/mediacontests/main/cid/60/ ) then bust out the Photoshop, or better yet MS Paint, and start designing! We want to see how hideous a design you can come up with, neon, stick men, annoying pokemons, its all up to you. Design the worst and get a pair of ON3P skis of your choice. Just remember your winning pair of skis will be adorned with your master piece.

We dont have templates, so please, READ THE RULES!

Summary - pick a ski out of our lineup you are interested in, approximate the specs. Make a HUGE canvas in MS Paint (ctrl+e, enter dimensions after selecting cm corresponding to size - 198cm long x 33cm wide is a sure bet, will fit any ski, but you might get some of the graphic cut off - read full details in the contest!).

Go crazy and creative.

Save this file (in case you win).

RESIZE the picture so its NOT 3mb. (In MS Paint, ctrl+w, stretch horizontal and vertical like 5 or 10%)

Save as a different file, and submit!



That being said, if you dont use any of the helpful hints I've just laid out, whatever. If we like it, we'll work with you to get it so its on the topsheet. That being said, formal graphics that look like actual graphics that are wretched will probably be more hilarious than a 5 minute creation. Take some time, you guys got till the end of the month!

I will just post this...

It is the ugly topsheet ever contest, but I can honestly say that we are going to choose something that actually took some effort. it is great to see some of these 3-minute slap stick topsheets, a couple on there already I would GLADLY put on skis (looking at party animal and cat lady here!) but, if you seriously want to win, I would put a bit of effort into it. That isn't to say don't keep doing these little paint submissions, they are hilarious for the most part, but don't expect to win with that either.

Don't forget to actually read the details page https://www.newschoolers.com/web/mediacontests/details/cid/60/ to make sure your entry is legit. We'll be going through and deleting a ton of them that do not meet the criteria. You have till the end of the month to do this right, horribly horribly right!

let's say i want 171 cm skis, do i have to fit two topsheets in a 178x33 rectangle or just one big topsheet in the rectangle?

You fit both in that one rectangle. Then they split the image in half to go onto the skis

I'm in need of some pow skis so I did my best to make an awfully awesome design!
Last season when I was up at Snowbird I saw someone on Caylors playing around and thought they looked like a very fun ski - so I decided to make my design for the next years Caylors in hopes of winning some epic pow skis with awful graphics.

I want this design to be on the 2010 Caylors, it is depicting Stephen Hawking Skiing on '09 ON3P Caylors. :)

I took the picture of the Caylors from the ON3P site & made a mask to put over my topsheet design posted before this to get a preview for kinda what the design would look like if it were put on skis. (I think I would shift the left mask over to the left a little more though)Click for larger image
