Got the word last week that i got a job at the town! (government job)

work 4 days a week, 10 hours a day, and get 15$ an hour. stokkedddd.

$8.25/hr to drive golf carts around like a boss.  And fill them with gas and wash them when I feel it is necessary.

this summer i'll be riding shotgun on a boom truck delivering steel to all of western pennsylvania, eastern ohio, west virginia, and a few places in maryland making 15 bucks an hour. the best part is that all i have to do is ride to the job site, help unload the truck, repeat. easy 40 guaranteed hours a week.

work in a fish market making 15 an hour off the books, such ana wsome job love it. And do investment bank internship as well hopefully.

you don't even want to know the obscene hours they work sometimes.

working from 4am to noon, then back at 4 and working til 3am and so on.

None of them would trade it for anything from what i've heard, but unless you live down the street, its gotta be rough.

Yep I am aware. I've met the heads groundskeeper and the regular workers at Target Field and got a full walk-through of what they do every day.

It's crazy how they manage to work full-time even in the winter.
The other thing that absolutely shocked me was the grass. It was so perfect that I could hardly even believe it was real. Even on golf courses, I've never seen anything like it before.

next summer im planning on heading out west to do some smoke jumping. im going to try to start contacting some people this summer about it. truthfully i dont really have experience with anything like it, but athletically i dont believe it will be an issue for myself. does anyone have any experience/know anyone with experience with this or something like it?

hopefully working as trail crew for Panorama this summer, will work 4 days a week for 10 hours, not sure on hourly pay yet but it should be pretty decent, im just stoked that it will be outdoors and i get to live in the mountians all summer

You have to have at least 3 years experience on a hand crew or engine crew. But still, there are so many jumpers and so few times they actually get used, you end up sitting around most the summer. Go for an engine crew, you will get plenty of fires and you most likely won't be digging too many trenches (if your lucky)

wakeboard/ski instuctor.  best job in the world.

I'll be in summer classses, and working part time at my co-op. Pretty much make my own hours.

crazy thing is they consider me free labor (16.50 an hour). I gotta figure out what expensive labor to them is...

During may/june i'll change pool layers. 50-60h/week 13$/h over 40h it's 19,5$/h. Hard work but I love it you get ripped as fuck and you work outside! July/august I should be able to work at casino as a croupier becose I have a crzy hook-up 19$/h, going to keep working there when school starts in september stooooooked!!

i also applied to that internship until i realized there job description didnt matched what you'd actually be doing, calling up people you know and selling them insurance

Stable hand. Essentially I warm up horses, groom them, braid manes and tails for shows and do whatever bitch work comes my way. Also horse show photography. Woot.

Tandem zipping? No its extremely dangerous and just overall too much to deal with. My ziplines are fairly gnarly. Sending and receiving guests is very difficult sometimes they come in at about 30 miles an hour and with a maximum of 280lds catching for a 120ld girl doesn't go smoothly on occasions

Hmm let's see. I'm taking a summer anatomy class, possibly being a camp counselor/motivational speaker at a camp for kids with diabetes for like 2-3 weeks, working on a few research projects with a private ear,nose, and throat practice, and possibly working at a local hospital as a patient transporter. Busy summer this year...

Last year I worked for the ministry of agriculture food and rural affairs. Drove around central ontario mapping out what farmers were growing and what their farms were focused on. Such a sick job, got to have some chill lunch breaks and see parts of Ontario I would have never seen in my life. Saw my boss twice, once in May and once in August.

I got that job back again.

Im also shortlisted for a Geological Field Assistant Position with the Federal Government up in Yellowknife
