I haven't been on my favorite website in a few days because I've been recovering from what was the most horrific experience that's ever happened to me.
Long story short, I was hit head on by a guy driving down a residential street going roughly 80k / hour while he ran a red light. I drive a Toyota Echo, he was driving a Toyota Highlander SUV.
He came out of nowhere while I was proceeding through the green light at about 9pm on the weekend.
His truck literally drove over top of my car - my airbags deployed, my windshield smashed and my engine block was pushed into passenger seat of my car. I was taken by ambulance to hospital, but released the next morning with a concussion and whiplash. The cops, fire and ambulance attendants all said it was a miracle that I walked away from it. Not a scratch on my face - just sore teeth and nose.
In the end, Im just hoping and praying that everything with insurance sorts this out....but it was a new car for me, just 5 weeks old...and the whole situation royally sucks.
Im off work for a couple weeks and bored out of my mind...so keep the good content coming and entertain me...oh yeah, and always wear your seatbelt. Im guilty of sometimes leaving mine off, but that night, I had it on...and it was a godsend.
