Im trying to decide between the salomon SPK pro boot and the Full Tilt Hot Dogger. I want to know which is lighter and which is more comfortable. Also I like a boot that doesn't have a very big forward lean on my boots. So any info is greatly appreciated.
i kno like 3 people that have switched from spk to full tilt and all havent had any problems. i think the hot doggers are lighter than the superparks its tough to say which is more comfortable. get the tilts molded if you get em tho
So you know like three people who had boots that were way too wide for them.
I'll admit, I had SPK's. I was a young kid and they were the cool freestyle boots, so of course I got them. Last winter I started skiing more groomers and realized that the boots were way too big for me. Then I got boots that actually fit. They're way better.
get tecnica the agents cant really say much about spks because ive never worn them but the hot doggers are so thin, while the agents are wider u should try them on
correct me if im wrong but its mainly the toe box that is wide which is what salomon intended when they created the boot so you could feel your feet and toes
The SPK Pros have a narrower last than the other SPKs. They really aren't super wide. They are still pretty different than Full Tilts though. For example, I have SPK Pros and they fit perfect. I have tried Full Tilts but my inside ankle bone presses up against the shell. It is very uncomfortable. The Full Tilt toe box is also noticeable less roomy than the SPK Pro toe box. Try them both on a decide for yourself.
