naturally grown weed is pretty safe stuff, its only the hydro and laced shit that is SERIOUSLY damaging.
the only real risk with natural buds is that sometimes if you have a history of mental illness in your family like bipolar then it can activate it somehow.

just admit its not good for you! come on. im not hating, i smoke from time to time, but come on. in the video it said that the only side effects are similar to the ones tobacco smokers get. those are throat and lung cancer, asthma, and other breathing problems. those are definitely problems. just because it doesn't fuck you up like other drugs doesn't mean its fine.

i like the fact that you crammed legality and safety together to make it seem like its illegal because its dangerous... its not. its illegal because we cant make money off it. its been said before and will be said again. tax money from weed can save america.
if you really want to go the "safe" route....
beer IS more dangerous than weed, there is no debating it at all. i dont even want to see it debated here. which one is legal though? really, do not debate legality vs safety

Weed is hands down the safest elicit psychoactive; you'd have to be a damn fool not to see that. But some of the posted reasons for determining this are atrocious. Some of you kids need to realize the confines of statistics and clinical studies. Also, anybody who claims "there is no documented proof..." is grounding their stance in a major logic fallacy. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

False, if chronically inhaled it will cause bronchitis, emphazyma, and other breathing problems.

thats only if you hold your hits a long time... the brain damage is from lack of oxygen not for the weed. you body produces THC its a natural thing. if you eat brownies, it is not harmful in any way. and its impossible to overdose because you would pass out waaaayyyyy before you could get to a fatal amout, you have to smoke over your body wieght in weed for it to kill you.

eating green is the best thing in the world, fresh off the vine weed is intense. when harvesting, i eat a whole bunch of lil nugs that would dry into nothing, and seriously hallucinate.

baked goods are great, especially from the clinics.

I wasn't referring to anecdotes. Anecdotes are not evidence, they are a product of overgeneralization. I was pointing out that stupid people defend certain drugs saying "there is no proof of negative side effects, therefore they don't exist."

I am not talking about philosophy; its simple logic. Existence is not reliant on proof; you can't even debate that. Proof is empirical acknowledgement of a testable scenario through the scientific method. But the scientific method only applies to so much. For example, you can't prove the sun will rise tomorrow, but that doesn't mean that it won't...

Furthermore, you are putting words in my mouth. I never said weed is harmful, in fact I completely agree with almost everything you said refuting negative effects and politics (although I'm not sure what those angles have to do with what I'm talking about) I'm simply pointing out that its ridiculous to think that scientific evidence is that ONLY thing that establishes being. That is all

On a side note, while I acknowledge how incredibly retarded those commercials are, its stupid to take them literally. I hate the Sobriety Awareness propaganda just as much as the next guy, but to interpret them in that light is no better than them using Cheech and Chong as model weed smokers.
