Camera bag

hi,

im looking to buy a camera bag in a near future. the best two one's appear to me to be the f-stop tilopia and the expedition 7x of tamrack. if you have any feedback or opinions let me know. If you think that there are other interesting product told me too .

how much gear are you lugging around?

I personally have a cheaper lowepro but it's not really weather resistant, but it does the job for what I need.

but I know dakine has some nice bags
and so does kata from what i've heard

im also looking at those. i have a kata (something like that) its good but small.

I have the satori. Love it so far but it's huge and might be a problem flying with it as a carry on. I'd say a good selling point for me was a sternum strap to keep the pack on while riding but that's just me.

dakine bags are nice because they are designed for action sports your gear is going to bounce around less when you are cruising around. the downfall is they arn't as big as other packs which can also work for you if you arn't a professional photographer/cinematographer.

Im looking at the 2nd biggest f-stop bag, cuz its not to to big but it will carry everything you will need. and when your at a place that is not your home... well when i go to a place thats not my homeI want a place to store everything and not leave shit everywhere. A bag that is easy to carry and move is a major selling point over the dakine bags. The dakine bags are good if you have a few lenses and a body or 2 (same with f-stop) but you cant rly have an extensive setup of strobes and stands, also carry extra clothing and special gear. The talopia (sp?) bag will be able to hold and transport all my gear on a plane and through some steep terrain with ease.


If you want to do some lighting stuff. go for the bigger bag, you can expand in the future and still use the same bag.

Carrying a huge bag everywhere draws eyes to you so keep it low key.

When i leave to go home i tend to just grab my shit, stuff it into my pockets and hold as much as i can so if you have a bigger bag then you need, its way easier to throw ur stuff in the bag and leave.

Don't forget to leave ALL the gear that you don't NEED on your bed when you go out shooting. I find that i sometimes carry excess gear with me and its just a pain in the ass + you will get back problems when your older.

Im leaning to F-Stop because of its versatility, size, and how it does not scream "EXPENSIVE CAMERA GEAR HERE!!!"

but thats just me.

im like deezy i want to be able to bring weveruthing with me when im not home ... at least 2 flashes 1 mackbook pro  telephoto lense normlal and wide lenses and all the little stuff that come with it
