Alpha 2 construction question.

Guys I have a problem i get my new skis alpha 2 but on one of them there is something like that (sorry for bad quality) [URL=http://img205.imageshack.us/i/dsc01369v.jpg/]Click for larger image[/URL] : its like piece of white strip missing, its  not a hole , I want to know is that a manufacture issue and it will make my ski less durable? or just nothing.

meh, its just the fiberglass layer.  Judging by how zoomed in the pic is, i'm guessing its a tiny 'chunk' missing and shouldn't be a problem.

It could be caused if the skis were drilled too deep, thereby, pulling the base away from the core; unlikely though?
