i have seen videos that u can make plasma like the stuff on the sun in your microwave.

what you have to do is get a grape(the little squishy things u eat) cut it in half but not all the way leave some skin attaching both sides, then u must put it in the microwave on top of a piece of wood, then start the microwave I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY HARM TO YOUR SELF OTHERS YOUR HOUSE YOUR MICROWAVE OR ANY THING THAT BLOWS UP OR GETS KILLED if you try this please tell me your results or take a video.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANY ONE BLOW STUFF UP AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

plasma is gas, if you made it in your microwave... well I don't know what would happen, it would probably explode.

but the wood and grape thing must make your microwave do something stupid, otherwise he wouldn't be trying to get us to do it.

he obviously hasn't learned anything yet about... anything so you put a grape in on anything, doesn't need to be wood, and a chemical reaction happens causing lil sparks. and yeah the plasma he's thinking of is uh... not from the sun but plasma in the grape. i have no idea dumb this person is but really? you think plasma from the sun comes out of grapes that you eat?

We've been doing this in our physics room for about 4 years now, we light a match so there is CO2, and then we capture the plasma in a broken snow globe. Sounds sketchy but it works.

well technically plasma when a substance reached the critical point. at this point, the temperature and pressure have to be at specific points.

now i doubt this would happen on earth with a grape. but maybe some other substance?

Or try this. take a tooth pick. (wooden one) and get it to stand up straight. doesnt matter how just get it to stand up like a birthday candle. then light the toothpick. so with the toothpick on fire, and standing straight up. put it in the microwave, and start it. it'll go for a bit. but its start to create plasma. try it it's really cool.

did it in chemistry.
something about the wavelength of the grape resonates with the microwaves and heats it up to the point that part of it enters the plasma phase. it's sorta cool, but not worth breaking your microwave over.
