So the lyrics to the Canadian National anthem are being changed to make it more gender neutral.

This according to the "Speech From The Throne" yesterday.

Heres the deal...

“TRUE PATRIOT LOVE, IN ALL THY SONS COMMAND”

"TRUE PATRIOT LOVE THOU DOST IN US COMMAND"

Gotta say, I'm not a fan of this Shakespearian version.

I find this hard to believe... although if any country would get all PC about their national anthem it would be Canada.

You'd think they'd ditch the bit about god in there while theyre at it.

This is retarded. They want to make woman have more equal rights in Canada, but I'd say they're pretty fucking equal if not favoring woman, because of all the womans rights activists pushing it. I think that the "son's" part may be referring to us as gods children, like "God's Sons." If so they should take out that bullshit bout god too.
