To whoever mounted my skis at Sportsauthority.

Fuck you.

Whoever mounted my skis messed up. I know for sure that I only mounted my skis once. They for sure messed  up and didn't tell me, because there are most definitely 2 sets of holes for both the heel and toe piece on both skis. Both skis had the original holes mounted way too far right. I am so pissed. 2 years later and now I find this, I wouldn't be so pissed if they would have told me when this happened. Now I have to resell them as remounted skis.

Support your LOCAL shop. Keep skiing alive.

Don't let a big box sporting goods store with no knowledgeable skiers in store mount your bindings.

True that. Especially at a Sportsauthority on the southside of Chicago. The closest "reliable" shop" to me is damn near an hour away in the heart of Chicago.

that happened to me last year. my local shop(only place to go to) mounted an extra set of heel pieces on one of my chronics and didnt tell me. during the spring slush i noticed my heel piece pulling out and then they ended up snapping there a few days later. when i took off the binding i noticed that not only had they not filled the extra set of holes but the back two were overlapping with the set of holes they used.

I live south 5 miles SE of Joliet. The sportsauthority in frankfort was only 15 minutes away and i didn't have my license then, so that was the only place mom was willing to drive. Now we have a globe sports in orland that wasn't there a few years back when this happened, that place is legit and "local". The next nearest place would've been Snowcrestski shop in Crestwood then Viking ski shop in Chicago.

I would've if i could drive at the time. And it was kinda hard to find a "local" shop 45 minutes south of chicago a few years back. I dont know where your from, but i can bet i your hills can break 100 vertical feet.

I used to work at Sports Authority. GO IN AND BITCH! They will give customers anything if you bitch about it. You'll end up talking to one of the managers and they'll give you anything. I saw people win without much fight. They bend easily.

I'm probably going to do that. I just thought they would be like, how are we to know that you didn't get them remounted after we did it. Whatever, I'll try my best, hell, maybe I'll get some cash or skis out of it. My buddy took his snowboard to them to get it waxed and tuned and they dented an edge. A few months later, he was riding a brand new Burton Custom.

You won't get anything out of this. I don't know how well every one else read the first post, but this happened 2 years ago. You should have inspected your gear when you picked it up so that you could catch this.

yeah, that's what im thinking. but why would i unscrew my bindings and take them off to check for other holes? i trusted that they would tell me if they fucked up. the point is, they didnt, and im pissed. btw, the original holes were hidden under the bindings. i inspected to make sure they were mounted at where i wanted them, but not for their fuck up that they tried to hide.
