Cutting poles

Hello

I have just bought Line Dart poles, after a while I found out they were to long for my riding style. I just wondering if it`s possible to cut them down without making any damage on them. The Line Dart poles have an unusually grip, not like the one in the tech talk.

there was a 4frnt tech talk video about it a while back that explained it really well look under there station it was a couple of months ago
