Are you guys ever inconsistent?

On jumps I seem to be very inconsistent, especially with my 360s.  I used to make threads about never landing 3s, but now I don't have that issue.  Wednesday, I stomped 3s all night, threw in some blunt grabs, and felt like a boss.  Today I went to a different resort and couldn't land my 3s all day.  Does anyone else experience this?

haha no really, not a big deal, plus you said it was at a new resort, have to get used to different jumps.

master everything from the basics up and you will be wayyyy more consistent but everybody does have their off days

thats what i did, i used to try to just huck 7's and didn't land many cause i was soo off balence so i just started from 1's and worked on getting them smooth and when i felt really comfortable with them moved up and it helps alot with consistancy and smoothness

yes. this happens to me soo much. it seems to happen to me more on rails though, like randomly i will be getting 270s everytime, then i randomly wont land another one for the rest of the day

yeah il have my really good days usually when its sunny out and i have the majority of my off days when the weather is shitty..But youll eventually get to the point where youve done that trick sooo many times its like second nature to you.

its all a mentality issue... olympic athletes often have a psychiatrist

you have to know how your head works

confidence is key
and if you go into the jump full of confidence and still mess up, dont let it get to you...

the next part is to keep it cool,
dont get angry or embarrassed or all dampered, its a 'you know, whatever, i can do better, that sucked but this time ill get it' moment

i like to take a breather after a bail, go to the side out of the way and just sit down for a little till i relax

after that its determination,
just keep trying, you dont need to try extra hard and push yourself, that puts stress on, put effort in and work for the trick but thats your body working, your head should be on your shoulders straight already knowing how things are going to go down


that said, some days will be shitty nevertheless, dont bring yourself down
