Who's all going to the best Midwest sesh of the year? Does anyone know the exact date at this point? I was hoping to make a trip out from Utah if it's on a good date.

Dear Friends and Associates,

With great regret we must announce today that the 2010 Tyrol Basin Spring Jam scheduled for April 17 and 18, 2010, has been cancelled. Mother Nature has dished out an array of unfavorable weather conditions over the past few weeks including 75 degree temperatures, high winds, warm sunshine and now the final blow of torrential rains and thunderstorms for the past couple of days. Unfortunately enough snow just could not survive this assault, and we have no choice but to give up on our hopes of another fun and successful spring jam. We share your disappointment, but would like to express our thanks for a wonderful season and our joy at how much fun it really was!

OMG YES!!! NOW I HAVE A REASON TO LIVE AGAIN!! I just recieved the following email from Tyroll:


"Many,many people expressed their emotions regarding how highly anticipated our annual Tyrol Basin Spring Jam really is. We were as devastated as you were that Mother Nature has made things absolutely impossible to have a full blown Spring Jam. However, after hearing your disappointment we realized that although "The Jamover" could not happen as planned this spring, perhaps there may be just enough snow left to "play" on and that might lift your spirits a bit!

Because we do listen to you, our loyal fans, we are pleased to announce that for those of you that don't care about a lift and don't mind hiking...

Come on out to Tyrol Basin - Where Fun is an Attitude!

Bring your board, your skis, your lawn chair, your sunscreen, and your BBQ grill and come and play on the last snow, however little there may be!

Saturday, April 17, 2010, from Noon to 5:00 p.m.

There won't be much snow, but we will spread out whatever is left, set up a couple of rails, and welcome you to come out and play. Even better, this opportunity to hike the last snow of the season is FREE! Soda, candy, and chips will be available for purchase and our Mountain Services building will be open for restrooms.

This is it. The last chance of the season for real snow. You asked for it. You got it!"

Jea! They will be open on the 17th from 12-5 with a few rails set up for hiking.  It will be FREE, too!  hoorah!

How many people do you guys think are going to show up.  Ya i know it is the last day so i have a feeling it is going to be a not bigger then early season.  I will be there if I don't have to golf.  I really want to slay rails with good friends.

probably not much...like a flat rail or two and maybe a combo with the flex rails like a flat down or dfd maybe idk

There were 2 patches of snow with rails set up on them.  The bigger patch with more rails wasn't visable from the webcam.
