But my resort is number one in the work for 48 and 72 hour powder totals. Our snowfall in the five days that the storms were coming through we received TEN feet of snow. More than thirty inches more than places like Mammoth and Squaw Valley. Of course, here on NS, nothing is valid withou pics, so......

Yeah dawg I know you, your Sam's friend with the bents. Sounds like you got a good plan for this weekend, be sure not to lose your ski. I did last year on eastbowl, It's not fun.

I yardsaled in some powder once. I had never skied powder like this before and I was pushing around a bunch of snow and my damn binding released and I tumbled losing my poles and a ski. Needless to say the Road to Provo was just opened up, and it was the NYE storm this year. Or if you weren't there, I dunno like 2 feet+ in 2 days or so.

then I had to climb around and look for my shit. Took forever it felt like, and the fresh tracks on road to provo had a few laps on them.

Everytime after that I had to lean back like a gangster and then the skis would take fucking flight and it was like whooooa yeah thisssss is like butter! I just hate skiing leaning back. I hate the control I feel like I lose.

Craziest pow day I've ever skied. I had to stay on the groomed part of intermediate runs and even some of the easier diamonds because I would come to a stand still. Some of the clifffs that are usually 20-30 feet got covered up and became chutes. Luckily, I was able to find one that was 20-25, but that was the biggest I could find with a good landing. Even on 10-15 footers I would land, hang out in the white room for a little and come back out. Stupidly deep powder. Unfortunately, I have zero skiing pics because the cell towers were down and my helmet cam ran out of battery and my friend has it, haha.

It's ready. I just finished making your bed. I even bought a heart shaped box of chocolates as a welcome gift for you. As for the pow skis, I'm on a budget, so we'll cruise down to OSH when you get here, grab some plywood and size it up for you. Hope it works. Can't be much worse than a 333 ski.......... Ouch!

Haha. Shit was so insane. Power was out for days in a little town a few miles down the hill, trees were falling all over the place, three different snow removal machines got stuck, one of them being a gigantic snowblower. My mountain had to turn people away because their machines broke down and they couldn't plow out the lot. Immense amount of snow. Another foot is coming this week.
