How is Dante Inferno? I just finished Devil May Cry 4 again and am looking at action games. I picked up NHL 10 recently so it will be awhile before I buy another game but should I look into Dante's Inferno or wait for GOWIII?
Sorry I phrased that wrong, I haven't played it yet since it only comes out in february, but waiting for it is what's keeping me sane. From everything that I've seen it seems like it could be a very close contender with GOW. However, I'm a huge GOW fan and if I had to choose between the two, I'd stick with GOW 3... I think this game is going to destroy all the competition.
you can also get it if you buy the new GOW HD pack that comes with the first and second game both redone in HD. The quality is really nice, especially the second, if you play it on PS3 it's basically PS3 quality graphics.
i dont like this type of games. its always the same. huhu, a monster, hit some funky button-combination, good, killed.... aaaah! a monster, hit another fucking combo, killed.... huhu, 4 monsters at a time, hit 4 combos pretty fast, good, killed, that was close... WTF, boss? i will go with some combo, not working???? oh yeah, there is this pathetic minigame going on just like speedskating in a winterolympics game.
of course the mythological thing is kinda cool, but nonetheless, pretty bs imo
They said in some of the developer diaries that if they continue the series they will use the name of the series "God Of War" but it will no longer be about Kratos. A different character and there is talk that the guy and team that made the first Devil May Cry game may come in to work with them on the next game in the series.
i guess youre right. i am more a sports/strategy gamer. you can still break it down and say its always the same, yes, but when i watched playing my roommate god of war pretty much all of last semester, i wasnt a big fan. its just me, but it feels more repetitive than other types of games
i played the demo and it rocked my socks. I played GOW I+II for the PS2 and loved every minute of it. Bought the GOW Collection for the PS3 when it came out (I HIGHLY recommend this game, both games look incredible in hi-def).
I am waiting until I have finished the bulk of my school work for the term before buying the collectors edition that comes in Pandora's box (only 2 more weeks! must..not..open..Pandora's box!)
