Just got red ring of Death (E74)

Don't wrap it in a towel. E74 is the basic RROD problem. My XBOX did it a few weeks ago. It is easily fixed with a trip to Home Depot and about $10 worth of supplies to make it never happen again. PM me if you want to fix it yourself and I will give you directions. You can make it better than new.

xbox is more fun online, it also has better games for the casual gamer

i guess the only legit reason to choose xbox over ps3 is controller preference, i hate the ps1/2/3 controller

I swear I read someplace that there is an adapter you can buy to use Xbox 360 controllers with your PS3.

The E74 error is a free replace from Microsoft, even if the warranty is expired. If you feel like giving up you xbox for like 3 weeks it's worth it. Mine came in the mail yesterday after I sent it back.

the only legitimate argument anyone can have against PS3 is the controllers, which aren't even bad if you've played Play stations through every generation. They just take a little getting used to. I've played both consoles enough to pass an unbiased judgement upon both. PS3 online is fine, there are plenty of people playing in each game. i never have a problem finding games to join or to play in. The only thing that makes X-box better in my mind is the fact that just about all of my good friends own them, and they can all game with each other. The whole debate is a joke, just continue to buy the console you feel comfortable gaming on. I'm tired of reading PS3 sucks, they both have their flaws. X-Box's being more of a hinderance though. Keep that in mind before you shit on PS3.

I've never owned a PS1/2/3, that being said, I love the X-Box, and the 360. I think they're both great consoles, run smoothly, good games, Microsoft's warranties are boss, and the always amazing Netflix instant watch. But, it does have it's flaws, it breaks, online costs money, I've had problems with the controllers charging through wires, and it doesn't have a blu-ray player. But I still love it. The PS3 basically has none of the cons the X-Box does, and almost all the same pros. But I dislike it, why? Because I find the controllers hard to use, I never notice a difference with blu-ray, blu-ray makes things cost more, I don't like the dashboard interface as much, I think that that are better games for the 360, and PS3 isn't owned by Microsoft, so they don't have the amazing capability to do whatever they want with there system.

ps3's were amazing............. until i got the yellow light of death. and then sony would only fix it for $200. fuck that shit so i went and bought an xbox. so far its been very faithful, omitting only the green light of life. and xbox live is sooo much better, besides the fact that you have to pay for it.
