ok so A kid i know was skiing today and he was going down pucci chute for any of you sandpointians and well i guess he hit a tree and suffocated. i never really knew him but he was a pretty O.K. kid got a little annoying some times but hey who does'nt?
well shit i can only hope that he is up in the big mountain in the sky shredding the gnarly white with shane...

Also a tragic reminder for everyone to always ski pow with a buddy. Beacons inbounds are a good idea as well. I put mine on every powder morning, even if I am skiing without a pack.

Awful news.

This is why I DO consider powder skiing spiritual, you have to be prepared to make the sacrifice for the lines we work so hard for. RIP to this fellow and thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
