Pro skiers that are actually cool

after meeting and sessioning with pros throughout the years, not many are notably chill and cool people. most seem to be x-racers, with a shitty attitude. considering they get paid to ski, you'd think they would be amazing characters, not douchers. this is not a hate thread, listing of chill pros only.

CHUG is the radist dude i have ever met. Coached me at momentum, asked wat we wanted to hit, said we just wanted to film all day, "fucking sick ill film all day then," he says. Proceeds to film us all day, getting really good shots, with awesome commentary. But ye its really sick how in skiing and snowboarding you can just shred with pros and not even know until you watch them. Earlier this year i did a couple runs with Danny Davis and didn't even know till a few months later when he was throwin back-back dubs in the pipe.

would it be wierd if i got a pro to sign my helmet or somethingwhen hes just taking laps?  i've never met one but next year when i got to vail im gonna carry around a marker in my pocket.  i just hope it doesnt explode when i bust my ass

^any pro should be stoked to sign a helmet, just wait for a good time, and dont make a big deal of it.

haters, there is a reason you have never met a pro, because you're haters. even if the opportunity arouse, you're not cool, so no one would want to chill wit you, especially cool pro athletes.

Agreed. When I met CR at Whistler 3 summers ago I talked to him for probably close to 30 minutes asking if he knew anything about skiing for people that are paralyzed (one of my riding partners had rolled his Jeep and broke his back). When all was said and done I asked him to sign a Freeskier Magazine (the one about his recovery) for my friend and he took the pen and signed that and then signed my helmet.

colby, abma, bornowski, hathaway,and martini are the coolest ive met

Peter O was pretty chill too, i've only talked to simon when he was loaded but kinda came off as a prick cuz he just kept talkin about how many times he hooked up with this chick at the party, but he also was pretty receptive to me when i started talkin about skiin
