Minimal Top sheet?

So I'm thinking about buying some last year's Bibby Pros with the defective top sheets from a guy who was too lazy to send them in when they were recalled.

I talked to Moment about sending them back, but what would happen if I just skied them as is? The top sheet is really peeling off badly.

How would this effect the ski? Not at all? Would it eventually completely fuck the core?

Whatchu think?

if you can send them back, send them back

if shit REALLY starts to peel off, and like the core is exposed, thats not good. water gets in, shit expands and rots and the ski falls apart

Same thing happened with my jibs last year and this year it is even worse on my blends. What you can do if you can see the core or are just super worried is use ding-all if you can find it(surfboard repare), or if you have fiberglass or epoxy resin you can just put the epoxy/fiberglass over the core and let it dry or use a hair blower to dry it out faster. This will make the ski a little bit heavier so use the epoxy carefully and only where it is needed.
