I wanna order the a crew neck but was wondering how warm they are. Are they more of a hoodless sweatshirt or are ther more of a thicker long sleeve t shirt?

really warm, it's a sweatshirt without a hood pretty much (same as any crew sweatshirt - if not warmer).

^you sure?  Because this year they talk all about heavy material.  But i didn't see anything about that in the descriptions on the crews.  Also In prior jiberish, my heavier material "royally fitted" seemed warmer than some of the crews spence had.

I always feel like my crew is ridiculously warm since I can't open it up.  I can't even wear it unless it's below 35 out.
