I personally love dubstep and think it works out pretty good. Im not really that into the styles that was in that movie but it worked, a little to serious imo. But its kinda hard to answer the question, theres way to many styles of dubstep.
Some dubstep works well with some shots and some just dont. For example, the How we livin song worked great with that trailer.

dubstep right now is a big fad in music. by this i mean its easy to sound like crap if the artist doesnt know what they are doing. With this said, the same can go for dubstep in a video
