Edits w/ punk, ska etc?

Is anyone still making edits with punk songs? It would definatly be a breath of fresh air to watch an edit with bands like op ivy, suicide machines, sex pistols, swingin utters, against all authority, etc. I just know that many people, myself included, are sick of all the hiphop/remixes in every edit.

yeah, but i just watch the movies when i'm feeling more song variety. most companies use classic rock/punk, and stay away from rap

Mistadobalina, totally agree.  Went to bump your Kar, but already had you 10/10.  I'd love to see an edit to the sex Pistols or Dead Kennedys.  Seems pretty perfect.

When I think about punk it makes me sad, all the albums I don't have anymore that you can't get anymore....  I need to find my contravene album and back it up, I bet in 10 years that will have disappeared forever

i dont think street punk like leftover crack would sound good in an edit, the vocals ruin it, shit like 7 seconds, descendents, op ivy, and social distortion would sound tight because its good a good beat but no screaming like street punk and my new op ivy shirt came in yesterday

depends on the style.

for most skiers its too fast, the beats dont line up. i don't know if anyone remembers 1242 but Seth had a Dead Kennedys song. for BM it works great...park, it needs a certain style. max or tony could pull it off. fast and sketch.

I feel like ska wouldn't be as hard to edit to as punk... I ski with a lotta ska on my shuffle and it just mellows me out and is just awesome shredding music.  Streetlight Manifesto or maybe some Big D?

does anyone listen to ska anymore?  i was wondering this when i rode my bike past the paradise and saw less than jake on the bill.  chuckled to myself when i thought of the crew who might be attending.

i used the sonics in my season edit from two years ago. now THATS punk rock.

Pfft! What kid of question is this?!  Ska is fucking awesome.  I've seen Streetlight like 6 times, Reel Big Fish a couple and a bunch of other bands like The Flaming Tsunamis and Waffle Stompers.  Ska is awesome.  There's still a huge ska scene in NJ... cause NJ is the best.

it went well with the edit, especially lengthwise. Just be thankful it wasn't Holiday In Cambodia, then you'd be getting phone calls from Guitar Hero.

If any of you other jokesters decide to stray from the Weezy/Biggie/Rasta B.S. please send your edit along to BroBomb for an embed and a few extra views. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find an edit with an original song and no teenagers making hand gestures. Get some!

Oh and only Nick gets away with a solo edit, everybody else is gonna have to find some homies to shred and film with.
