Pow pow ski

i know theres alot of threads on this, but anyways.
im lookin for a pow ski, with some decent rocker. the only 2 i would consider are the ep pro and the k2 hell bent.
im 6foot i think, or 184 cm. my concern was if the ep pro is too short for me? oh and i weigh like 70  kilos (145 pounds i think)
the rocker and taper takes away alot of length of the ski, so do you think it will still work for me?
the k2 hell bent comes longer, but massively longer. in 189 or 193 in real length i think the hell bent will be too heavy and long? or will it not? my park skis are 180 and i generally like long skis, but could i still handle length and weight of the bents? ive been skiing all my life, but not that much in the bc.
since im more of a park rat :D i need some help from the more experienced pow skiers.
some positive input would be awesome.

with your weight the EP's would be acceptable flex wise, but they are REALLY soft. noodly. bents, while still damn soft, are not quite as noodly. assuming you are a good experienced skier, you should be able ride a 189 bent, but thats long, especially since with k2s measuring a 189 is really like a 194.

are you planning on skiing a lot of tight trees, or more big open stuff where you wont need to be turning on a dime.

i will ski more tight turns on steeper terrain i guess.
will i sink alot on the 185 eps?
ive recalculated my weight, i weigh 155. sorry im not so good with pounds and inch :D
what si would you guys go for?

its not that youll sink. its just that they are a very soft flex, so if you huck cliffs and stuff they can wash out easily. id say 179 bent would be the way to go, but thats me personally.

ive got 10-15 lbs on you, and an inch shorter. and my 179 bents are about as tall as i am. (they measure long, as many have said)

its all personal perference. i actually am more of an all mountian skier, like 70/30 all mountain to park, and i have always preferred a shorter ski. im 6'2'' 175lbs and i ride the 179 08/09 k2 kung fujas. granted, they actually measure to a 183-4, but it still is a little short given my height/weight. but then again, when im in the tight trees on the east coast i dont want to get all tangled up with 189s or longer...

so, i would say that if you are skiing the open bowls out west then go for the 189 hellbents. i had the chance to demo the 179s last winter and they were unbelieveable. k2 is an insanely solid all mountain brand, especially considering the hellbents, obsetheds, and kung fujas. all of which shred all mountain and in park, but the hellbents give you that extra underfoot to keep you in control and floating when in the deep stuff. BUT, if you are not out west, then the 179s will work fine. good luck!!

In relation to size, i am the same as you. You could rock either 179 or 189 Bents but it comes down to what you ski. For more jibby, playful type stuff (like pep and andy do) go for the 179. Its actually a lot longer than 179 (try put 179 Seths beside 179 Bents).  189 would work too, but unless your just skiing deep deep snow in open spaces i think you'll have more fun on the 179. the 189 is a big ski to mess around on.
