Need interesting/satirical argumentative essay ideas...

So i have to write an argumentative essay for English class (college not highschool.) Can be about anything other than abortion and weed legalization.

I was thinking about doing a completely ridiculous subject or a totally satirical essay. Or both.

Any ideas???

find some essays about political correctness today. then just satire the shit out of them

were reading em right now in english (HS senior though) but i wanna ridicule the shit out of them

some authors we read:
nancy stevens
richard tarnas


and an absolutely hilarious article, by mike royko, where he ridiculed the living fuck out of people who have a problem with a store called "crazy larry's waterbeds" or something

and what i mean is that a lot of people these days are saying shit like, "OMG CALLING A GROUP OF GIRLS GUYS IS SO WRONG GIRLS DESERVE TO BE CALLED GIRLS AND MEN GUYS. STOP USING MANKIND TO DESCRIBE WOMEN AS WELL ITS NOT RIGHT!!!!" or "YOU CANT SAY CRAZY ITS OFFENSIVE TO PEOPLE THAT ARE MENTALLY ILL ITS SO WRONG OMG"

I was thinking of writing an essay on why i should be given an A+ for my essay. But i honestly cant think of any real points to argue that.

You could write an essay supporting WME, thats pretty ridiculous.

But in honesty, and this might sound stupid, I always thought that if someone were to write a good essay challenging the idea of "nothing", it would be interesting.
