Just wanted to point out this contest to you guys... its an awesome opportunity to win a whole bunch of stuff.

The concept is simple : find a slogan which best reflects the new coreUPT.com strategy, as outlined below, and submit it to the CoreUPT.com team, by writing it in the space below, before October 15th 2009. ok so for all the fucking haters on this website who just don't know shit about this brand you should all understand that coreUPT started last years with dynastar skis cause they couldn't have thier own model at that time
but now they made all their skis and not anymore dynastar ski
so sometime before talking shit please find good source

and i really don't care if people are going to give me bad karma or things like that cause the only thing you do is just hating behind your computer

On a side note, to join Laurent on the "down karma road" I'll state this:

I do think that most of the kids hating on Coreupt are simply jaleous and frustrated that a new european brand could start and directly (or so) sign big loved riders like Colby and TJ... Specially TJ though, taking him from Armada was a major issue for some people here.

That said, most of the people I speak about would never admit this... I'm sure some of them aren't even aware why they hate on Coreupt.... ...

so a new freeski company starts up with powerful/rich backers JUST LIKE ARMADA did back in the day. It immediately signs a bunch of big name riders JUST LIKE ARMADA did back in the day. It gives its pro team shares in the company and massive input into ski design JUST LIKE ARMADA did back in the day....

so what if they used dyna moulds for year one. now they aren't- for fuck's sake get over the fact that freeskiing is big in europe too and let coreUPT's product speak for itself this year. isn't more choice a good thing you morons? can't argue with the prices too much either and the skis look dope- what else is there to say at this point.

They openly talked and publicized last season about how they were using dyna's product. They made it well known that it was infact happening.

Maybe if you and coreUPT wants it to be well known they have their own model this season they should PROVIDE this good source you speak of. They sure as hell haven't marketed it will at all.

I'm with you, why make a new brand if it's just going to be a series of pro models. You guys are all marketing and bang. Just look at your warranty-- you don't even back up your skis. Oh awesome, I really want to drop an extra $100 for a warranty. Also, what makes your skis any better than any other company? A brand name?

A lot of ski companies don't back up there products well.  Many the second you hit a rail the warranty is void.  I think that there warranty thing is better than them saying Your ski broke because you hit a rail, now you have to pay for a new ski at full price.

back to the contest, can anyone confirm if you can enter more than once or do you get disqualified? i entered a while ago with:

COREUPT.COM THE ONLINE FUTURE FREESKI COALITION

i like it, but then i started thinking about the word itself and its history/meaning and came up with:

coreupt: absolute power. (take on lard acton's famous quote: "power corrupts, absolutely power coreupts absolutely").
coreupt: quid pro quo... (i.e. tit-for-tat, one good turn deserves another)
coreupt: kid go pro! (so above lol)

so i gave those to my friends to enter with but i'm wondering if i can just enter again myself if i think of more...
