Skis rockering out

I've skied like 30-35 days on my AR6, and they have no camber anymore, about 5mm of rocker between the tips, and then the other weekend over the space of half a day the tails, which were fine before, now have about 30mm of rocker between them. Don't know what happened think it could have been when I overshot a jump and landed hard into a manual... 

Has this happened to anyone else? I'm just under 6'3" weigh about 75kg and ski pretty aggressively, do I need a stiffer ski?

I know Punx have a similar flex, would they noodle out the same?

shit! you MADE them rockered? pics or it didnt happen (if possible)... dayum. ya probably get something stiffer

^pics would be cool. are they last year's ar6? if i were you i'd e-mail armada. they have great customer service and i would ask about the pair being faulty. maybe if it was a defect they could help you out with a new pair?  i think a ski defect is more likely than them being normal ar6's and you skiing so hard you rockered them.

Same thing happened to my t halls, granted they are a much softer ski. I guess it's an armada thing

Thats not normal. Where are u in NZ? if your in Wanaka, go talk to Jase in Base, he runs all the Armada stuff in the country. If not PM me and i'll give you his number. Or go to the shop you bought them.

The same thing happened to my mates pair, he has the exact same model as me and his have rockered out, hes got like 30mm at the tips and 5mm at the tails. They're the 07/08 purple ones 181.

yeah I might ask Jase, but I was thinking of getting some Punx, they were sick when I demoed them but if the same things going to happen then I want a stiffer ski.

I'll try get some pics, I don't have a camera but ill try borrow a flatmates

Yeah Punx are sick. 75kg really isn't super heavy, but if your doing a lot of jumping you'll be better off on stiff skis anyway. Check nordica ace of spades for a stiff fast symmetrical ski.

Shit, can't believed that the thread creator hasn't been bashed by a katrillion morons screaming obscenities at him for saying "landing into a manual".

If I recall, the 07/08 THall pro model skis from Armada did the same thing where people that landed back seat suddenly got a pair of rockered skis, the core seemed to stay at a point if you flexed them really badly. Might be the same thing.

My friends silencers did that on one ski, but the ski was snapped like that not just bend. They were still ridable tho

I've seen Thalls do that, and I saw somebody else with ar6's also having the same problem in a different thread earlier today. You aren't alone

Its because armadas cores are terrible.  They use super soft wood and wrap it in a ton of glass in order to maintain a decent stiffness, this however breaks down over time.  This is also the reason for armada binding ripouts constantly.
