K2 exteme, what do you think?

Weell, PK is rippin' with the k2 extreme ski, so I guess it's an alright ski. Much better than salomon suspect. :)

yeah, i bought it in the offseason, i heard it completely kills at jumps.

rode it at stratton last feb, lots of fun. same ski as the p.e, stable, rips hard, solid on landings. great ski.

My bro has them and i thought they would be more like the PE, but it turns out to be a lot better. Its like they took a lot of the things that were wrong with the PE and improved them a bit. Its a stiff, more all mountain oriented park ski with a pretty bomber construction. It has a little pop and it does well on rails to. In my opinion its a great ski and skis like a high end park ski. Some people have complained that it is to similar to the PE but i loved my PE's and I really like the extremes. Which might make me a little biased. ANd if you do get them mount them core center if you want them for park.

i had pes mounted at recommended at 7 back from center. DONT DO THIS but yea if your hitting big shit def get em theyre pretty cheap and will last but def not the most playful ski.....

what is the differentce between the extremes and the disorderlys beside the symetrical

extremes are stiffer and heavier than the disorderly.
the extremes of course have a different sidecut and is based more for an all mountain/park skier, while the disorderly's are made for a park skier

if you ever felt or skied the k2 public enemy, thats what the extreme is based off of. take the weight off of the tip and tail, add i bit more flexibilty, and make the public enemy's lighter and tada, you have the extreme

If you want a K2 ski that is a bit lighter and that has a narrower waist you should try the new K2 EXT. I rode them for 3days last week, they were a bit wierd to ski with in the begining (i skied suspects before) but after 1-2days i got to "know" the ski alot better and then they just got better and more fun to ski on.
