Ski question and School rant

Uh so i have BRand new 179 bluehouses and cant decide to trade them for used, 07/08  Fujas mounted once (15 ski days used) .... bad deal on my part?

And also Ive been trying to get out of AP government for my seniors yeah, its really hard and lots of homework. Ive never had a AP before and been trying to switch out to make my senior year not suck...
the school wont let me get out, saying that I am "capable" by looking at my past grades. they are really stingy with class changes this year because of budget cuts but.. seriously, does anyone else think this is bull shit?

I had AP Government last year and it wasn't that bad, the AP exam is super easy. The class is a lot of note taking and reading historical documents, but i really think you'll be fine. My biggest advice for that class is to read the chapter in the book and then listen for the little facts in the lecture (like Oregon is the only state that assisted suicide is legal, that kind of thing). If you ever need any help with it let me know because I kept all my old stuff.

don't even worry about it. AP gov is only a semester.

i'm taking 3 aps, and that truly sucks.

but it's all good

and, you should keep the mrs, i think.

1. Keep the MRs. Wish I had never sold mine.
2. Stay in the AP class and make the best of it. It sucks but if you pass then its worth it plus chicks will be all over your dick when they find out you're taking an AP class. (Not really but you can always hope, right?)

for ap gov just memorize all the different court cases and specifics between the senate and house. just stick with it cuz after the first month or so it gets pretty easy

I had the same problem this year. Your a senior go talk to you counciler or teach or whatever and tell them if they dont let you drop you just wont go to it. if they dont do it, skip for like a week and tell them again. Thats what i did

haha nice i dont think they will budge....

and i dont think it will get easier.. there is like a hour of hw everyday in that class.. this has never happened to me before, and i have calculas and physics on top of that

tell them that its your senior year, your class, your fucking tax dollars, and your future.
if they wont do it, have your parents call the office and demand they do it
or just do what the kid above me said, and stop going until they get the point.
what also works is going up to the teacher, maybe with a BS note you made, and saying that the guidance teacher allowed you to drop the class, then saying you wont be coming to class anymore ETC, the teacher themselves might stop entering grades and take your name off their schoolmaster (computer system grading thing) and then youll be pretty much un-enrolled.

how can they tell you you cant drop a class haha?

i mean it sounds like you should stay with it but if not do what some of these kids are saying. i think not going for a week or two would kinda show your serious.

The teachers dont have the power to dake you off the list, only counselors dean and Principal  etc have that power. Seriously with all the new technology, skipping class and everything has gotten wayyy harder..
my parents already have met with the dean and principal and they said no "i know that your son is capable of taking the class"
the only way kids have gotten out is if the parents were like having social issues aka fighting, divorce, abuse and shit..
my parents can hardly talk intelligently to the dean or principal since they speak horrible english...

im too afraid to do that.. i will get detentions, grade drop and they will most likely not let me out (since they are bitches) and i will not pass high school and will be on AP (academic probation) for sports

The high school staff have the best information and are therefore best situated to make these decisions.  They considered all relevant information both academic and non-academic and have properly placed you in your current class schedule and I support the principal’s position of maintaining that schedule.
