Hello Newschoolers, i´m new here but I have searched through gear talk for a very long time but can´t find any thread that i can relate to. They reason why is because i´m more heavier then most of you. I´m around 231 lbs and 6,2 so i´m fairly big. I consider myself as a expert.
I´m not looking for a butter ski because i´m only gonna use it for jumping and all mountain (around 80 % jumping and 20 % all mountain), so i need it quite stiff to be stable on landings.
I have been looking into:
Dumont: But i´m not sure i can trust salomon due to the edge armor problems. But other wise i like the graphics and seems like a good "jumping" ski.
Pipe cleaner: Like everything about it (rase base, graphics), but im bot sure if it stiff enough, i know that is stiffer in the tail then the nose but is it enough? And how about it when you land switch?
Wall: Seems like a good ski but dont much about it. But is a summetric ski a good choice for a 20 % all mountain (not that is much but it atleast needs a thought)?
Villian pro: same thing as the wall.
I will be happy with some pros and cons about these such as stability, durability etc.
The price don´t matter much and im always in for a new suggestion.
