i'd vouch for the scarpa skookum or garmont axon, both some of the stiffest dyna compatible boots in their class, i rode the skookum a lot last year because i'm a scarpa guy and they're so nice going up and hold their own quite well on the way down. it was the only boot i brought to chile and it was great on 4hr tours with dynafits and it did just fine charging around the resort on jj's with dukes. really happy with them
basically dynafit is the way to go if you want to get into long tours, they won't withstand hucks from a 220 lb guy but they'll get you down just fine, especially with the toes locked
if you want to hit big stuff on your touring rig, just stick with the rubies and dukes, a fr+ or naxo is kinda that middle section where they're heavy for long tours and weak for big hucks
