Im trying to get my photos out there as much as i can. i realize that photog is what i would like to do with the rest of my life so i am trying to get my flickr out there as much as a can so maybe one day it will be looked at by the right person and i can become famous haha





please tell me what you think of them and what i can do better. i update it pretty regularly so keep checkin it

I looked thru a few of pages and some of the photos had really nice compositions.

You should make a blog and promote that. Promoting a flickr just kinda Cheesey. You can make a blog pretty easily with no web experience. A friend of mine is in a similar position trying to take his photography to the next level, and you will have a much better chance of having the right person see a blog as opposed to a flickr.

Their good pictures but they are pretty straight forward, try to be a little more creative but other than that there real good

Those are all good photos, some are really nice, but I didn't have to look very long to see that there was nothing that stands out.

Do you want to be a professional commercial photog (sports, movies, entertainment, portraits) or a pro photographer for the sake of the art form of photography?

answer that question and I'll give you some advice.

some were pretty good but not quite enough to put them over the top

try to promote them in different ways, Flicker is not the best way to do that

well i dont have much action in there but from what ive done i liek it a lot. i would love to do both. like my dream would be to shoot for national geographic or something

some of them had great composition, others not so much.

i didnt particularly like the lighthouse one where its just the top of the lighthouse and the sky. if you're gonna do something like thatm you need to include more of the lighthouse. looks much better, trust me

all in all, good start. def start a blog to promote ur photos.

i saw about hald of them and i was not particularly stoked. The straightforwardness of it wasnt really my style, but great quality. I did likd the panorama of the lake. And yes, absolutly start a blog of your photos. There is a lot of competition to be good, so make your artwork more original. hope this helps bud and happy shooting

I found that if you join a lot of groups and add your photos to groups, people will see them a lot more. Trust me, it will help out a ton. A blog sounds like a cool idea too.

i've been going there everyother year since forever, it's a really nice island, and there are some good spots to surf!

Start taking photos of living things, people, animals whatever.

All the shots you took looked goot, but they don't exactly stand out.  Even if you got to an event and take a thousand photos, if you've got that one amazing shot it could be the stepping stone you need.

The Wall Street Journal's Pictures of the Day never fails to impress me. Obviously these are from photogs who travel the world, but it may get you thinking.

some of the photos i thought were pretty good and than there were others that I thought really just looked like anyone could have done it. Try to get some things that are stand out moments or things that no one really sees at that certain angle. I have a friend who does photography and he has this niche for taking pictures at the right angles that make them look amazing. I'll see if i can post some up for ya
