That was really good.  NWD 10 trailer was sweet too.  Filming looks top notch in this one.  Is it me, or does it seem like MTB is getting bigger?  The filming is really good now, I find it better than most ski films.

See, I don't know about that. I know nothing about mountain biking, but to me if you showed Refresh (the trailer I just watched) to a mtn. biker that knows nothing about skiing, I think he'd say 'Holy Shit.', whereas I was just impressed by the mountain bike one.


I don't know though, could just be me.

I agree with this completely. So many dope MTB movies are dropping this year (such as NWD) that just look like they have outstanding filming, and I also agree that DH/Freeride as a sport is expanding into a much larger audience. But as a sport in general, I would say that skiing is progressing so much more.

Yeah, but I ski and mountain bike, so I guess that example wouldn't apply to me?  That's a good way to look at it though.

Big_Spence, I agree.

I watch NWD 7, and the filming now is almost twice as good as it was a few years ago.  It is amazing.

The voice over gets kind of old, but the movie looks oh so sweet.  The cable cam shots are so dope, I wish there were more of them in skiing, they're not terribly hard to setup either.

Mountain biking is still nowhere near as big as skiing, but I think you'll find as many good mountain bikes as good skiiers. I don't know anyone who wouldn't say holy shit about this, unless they knew nothing about action sports.

The nose pivot 5 and body whip were just retarded! And finally, films showcasing good lines through corners rather than cutties with unnecessary drifting.

That was VERY VERY dope.  I loved how they mixed it up and some of those skimboard shots were SO sick.  All the bike shots were from the movie "Seasons" by The Collective and they always have great films.  Thanks for that video.

MTBing is the best. I'm always pumped to get back on the DH bike when skiing season ends (but not as pumped I get for skiing when DH season ends). BigSpence . . . do you freeride? Hardly anyone I know rides hard on a Mt. Bike in Walla2 (but there's a shitload f kids that shred on a bmx). I'm soooooo stoked on ANThill . . . I have a man-crush on Matt Hunter.
