The pyro shows are just about the worst things at airshows, they suck. And if you want to see a real airshow, go to the RIAT at raf fairford in the UK-

yeah the pyro can be gimmicky but I still like it. And do you even know what oshkosh is all about? Its amazing, not many jets, all experimentals and warbirds.

Ive lived and grown up around air force jets all my life, but never have I been fortunate to grow up around warbirds

Oh sick, didnt know that! They have the same in england, its called old warden, they get out all the old ww1 tigermoths and have some flown over from germany france etc, its great, also the Battle of Britain memorial flight is at every airshow, one of their hurricanes crashed recently though, killing the pilot and writing off an old ww2 plane.

airshows are so sick, i was always a fan of b-29s, not sure i saw one in your pics though

from what i did see id take an A-10, a few P-51s, and that sky-crane at the end so i can pull off some swordfish-esque heist.

Ouch, that sucks.

Yeah my dads friend flew in on an avenger, and we COULD have flown in it if he would have remembered to have his phone with him when she was calling telling us we could go up.

did you see the A380 fly? my uncle was really looking forward to going in that and seeing it fly...

 I was a day late on the A380, the pilot butchered the landing. I remember being right next to the MPLS airport when the A380 flew in a while ago, it was sick. Looked like it was just floating in the air cause its so huge

psh thats a normal airshow for dayton. on the century of flight year. all three of the stunt teams came out, the brazilian smoke squad, army helicopters and lots of other shit.

last year they had the jf 35 so awesome. and they did a flyby with the antanov an 225

How come you UK kids always think your shits better.

The show at Oshkosh is the LARGEST air show in the world. It has plane demos every day. They had the first showing of the new Airbus fleet last year. The first showing of the new virgin plane. If you want to see an air show, go to EAA. It becomes the largest and busiest airport in the world for 1 weak. Hundreds of thousands of planes from all over the world.

The one i was talking about was the largest military airshow in the world, the quility of the flying and static displays will be better than oshkosh, but it depends what yoyur into.

And just to keep claiming the shit out of stuff, my dads currently training to become a captain on the A 380 for emirates.

Im pretty sure oshkosh is the worlds largest.

And just to claim, my dad was in the very first F 16 fighter squadron, worked on the blue angles planes, the thunderbirds planes, and worked on the very first 747-400 put into the commercial market. On of his friends was one of the original workers on the stealth project, and one of my dads kc135s held the world speed record for flying around the world.

I also know the pilot responsible for al zarqawi's life

even if the air show isn't going on, EAA is a pretty cool place to go and check out. i used to go all the time with my grandpa when i was younger.
