EP Pro or Bent Chetlers?

No need to narrow it down so much.  For what you just said, get any of these:

-LL2s(2010 Nine Life?) which is what I got from my hutn for a jibby pow ski, message *SURFACE and ask if he has any left, and seanpistol too.  They sell them cheap.  There might also be a pair of 189s(your length) in gear swap.
-4FRNT 2010 188 CRJs
-EP Pros(although I didn't put them in the list of skis I was looking at for the same purpose as you)
-Moment Night Train 188.
-Moment Bibby Pro 186(the most directional maby, but before the night trains they were Moment's pow jib ski.  great ski)

Those seemed to be popular choices..my preferance is a waist in the high teens, stiff, and longer(as far as pow-jib skis go) and I was offered 189 LL2s for $275 shipped, so got those.  Marshal on TGR, who has skied lots of this type of ski, said these were the top three pow jib skis out there(in his mind): 1) CRJ. 2) Night Train. 3)Bent Chetler.

I skied chetlers and found them fun, but a bit too short(in pow) for me.  I like any non-park skis to be long though(sold my 194 chargerish ski, replacing with 195ish 333 total charger pow ski).  here is the thread I was talking about: http://www.tetongravity.com/FORUMS/showthread.php?t=156125 which told me not to get ARGs.

I would go with the ep pro, but I dont know too much about the Bent Chetlers other than they look fucking dope.

I ride bents pretty much for only pow/ aggressive all mountain skiing. Love them, but I do believe the flex on the EP pros and the Bents are way way different. EP pros are kinda like noodles and if you want to butter I would choose those, although I have never riden them. I love my bent chetlers and would recommend them, but I do not butter a whole lot.

How do you have those mounted? One reason I really like the EP Pros is that the flex is almost symmetrical and the recommended mounting position is pretty much center mounted which makes for really, really easy switch riding thru deep pow and for landing switch. How are the bents as far as landing and riding switch in deep pow?

I agree, the bents have siiiiiiick designs, but I can live without (or find a way to put my own design over the EP Pros) it if I'm gonna enjoy the EP Pros more.

Another thing I forgot to add is that I like to play in powderized trees as well, so I need a ski that will be able to maneuver thru the trees as well. I don't do this too much, but sometimes its the only option when coming off an untracked area to get back to the lifts or to a point where I can safely hike back up.

I just noticed the Amplid Cholesterone RC. This seems like almost the exact same ski as the EP Pro. And with better graphics! Anyone ever skied these before?

I broke my pair but got them warrantied so I get to choose where I want all over again. Last time I had athem mounted inbetween center and recommened.... I liked it. Landing big drops is kinda a problem, at least for me, because of the rocker you the skis like to wheelie. Eventually you get used to it and can compensate but gotta watch out for it. Riding switch pow or anywhere is super easy because you don't have to worry about the tips catching at all.
