Apparanteley i have to sign up for USSA to get access to the Lake Placid water ramps.
I'm prepared to sign up but I don't know what I should get...the Freestyle Competitor membership or the Freestyle Rookie membership
does it matter for the ramps anyway?
I'm pretty bad at jumps and gonna be away at college a lot, looking to get better, and I don't think i'll be competing in very big competitions.
should i sign up for Freestyle Rookie?
i guess i should sign up for rookie? cuz it's 70 bucks only. and the competitor is 140 bucks??????????
thx. i'll just wait for a few more replies before i sign up as a rookie
If you haven't competed before and had to get a USSA license, you can get the Rookie license. IMO USSA is poorly run by people who have zero insight. It sucks that you have to get a USSA license to session placid. Thats wack.
People complain about anything that requires structure and discipline... which is funny considering it's the same people excited about getting the half pipe in x games.
Call the ramp camp up and ask them which license you need in order to use their facility.
