I think it would do pretty well. It wouldn't be as good as a blend or kung fujas probably would, but mine are pretty good on groomers and in tight trees. They are one of the best west coast all mountain skis in my opinion, so for typical east coast conditions they'd probably be a bit big.
They are soft, and they don't rock the crud all that well either, so if your snow is like that a lot I don't know if I'd recommend them... If you want a ski for pow days that'll do well on all the rest of the days then this could be good for you. Any amount of fresh and these skis are so much fun. They are sick on groomers too.
