Bike frame size?

I don't know dick from twat about bikes. Mine sucks, so I'm looking to buy a new one. I'm looking for a road bike, (not MTN) I know that makes a difference on size... but yeah

I'm 6'3" 190, some stupid online thingy said I should ride a 55cm, but that seems small.


Could someone more informed than me just tell me what size frame I should get?

i wouldn't go bigger than 61cm

i would suggest 59-61 antwhere in that range should be fine, my friend rides a 61 and he is 6'2 but its a little big.

Before you go and take the first suggestion, realize its not all about height, its a lot about the the length of your pants inseam and your reach as well. Like somebody said above check out your local bike shop, and they'll be able to tell you.

bro, just go in and get fitted
i was just in a bike shop this weekend called Sids, in NYC. really well known
they say no matter what you get, if it doesnt fit right, your not going to be happy

so go in there and get fitted. your not obligated to buy, just get fitted. they have inseem measurers and stuff. trust me, with a road bike you HAVE to get fitted
