My friend has 8 legs?

So. Back in May, i had a roommate who found a pretty normal sized spider on our deck. I also noticed this same spider because it was always there when i would go smoke a cigarette.  We decided to just let it chill.  It seemed like a nice spider.  However my roommate moved out about a month ago and i have been useing the front porch to smoke.  Then today i decided to switch it up and return to the back deck.  When i got outside, there he was, big as fuck.  Its kinda hard to tell in the pic but he is about the size of a quarter.  I am still gunna just let him chill, but i need a name for him.  I want a name that goes with his swagger but i am at a loss.  And if anyone knows what kind of spider he is that would be cool as well.

NS can you help name this badass spider??

I think it's a wolf spider, they're always in my garage all big and spidery lookin'

I like to shoot them with an airsoft gun, they go splat all over.

It might be, it doesn't really look like one to me, but all the wolf spiders I've ever seen were huge.  I saw one bigger than my hand at camp a few years back.  We smashed it with a shoe and it left a gut pile on the floor.

 i was helping out at an orphanage in the dominican republic . one morning i was putting my contacts in and this huge ass tarantula comes out from behind the mirror. theyre slow and docile but it scared the living shit out of me. biggest spider ive ever seen.

fuck bro, when i see little spiders, i get this rush of adrenaline. Fight or Flight kicks in, except its always flight because i cannot stand spiders. I fucking jump up on my chair and then run to the other side of the room. and thats just little ones. if there was a big one, fuck i would cry i think. im arachnophobic

This one time, i went to the bathroom and was peeing and my friend tells em through the door, "hey brian, theres a spider in your bathtub btw."
i turn around and BAM! fucking black spider like the size of my hand was in the bathtub. it wasnt like super hairy like a tarantula, but it was just fucking big and black.
i flipped a shit, i wanted to run so bad but i was till peeing so lim like half out the door like with my dick hanging out (after i finished though) and ran and told my dad and brothers.
took a shit load of stuff to kill that fucker. i never found out what kinda spider it was either. It was big and black and i live in NY if anyone might know...

my godly research on the interwebz wikipedia showed that your little friend is a so called:
"Orb Weaver Spider - Neoscona arabesca"
and has a lifespan of just 12 months, so depending on how long you have hime hanging around catching bugs n stuff, don't get too attached....
