why do pros make their own movies now? id prefer to have an assortment of pros in a crew, not to single one out as more important than the others. that way you get tons of different skiers with an individual style, and none of them are considered more important or better than the others.
good to see some midwest representation in there! Movie loooks reeeeeal sick, they were filming on the momentum wallride while I was there and lemme just say...Sammy is gonna surprise a ton of people with his skills when the movie comes out...
Why are there so many dope movies coming out this year!?!?! Im gonna be broke once I order them all
one time a girl in first grade stole my rice krispie treat, so i bit her. -[wh@]
This whole idea kind of pisses me off. i really think sammy thinks a little too highly of himself. sure it looks like a great movie, but it really sounds as if its all him, when it really isn't. anybody else feel like this?
Hi, My Name is Robert Cummings, and I'm addicted to Gnarshmallow
RIP Shane McConkey
sagged pants, wide stance; tall tees, cork threes; goggle sag, sponsor swag; hip-hop and rap, tranfer gap; afterbang, in a gang; stylie grabs, sick hand drags; sliding a rail, stickers in mail; stomping tricks, level one flicks
"that was the gayest thing i have ever seen"
I can't believe any of you are questioning why a Pro would want to make their own movie!
First of all, Sammy specifically states how this movie came to life...."Early last Fall I went to France for a Salomon meeting, While i was
there I spent a day with Dominique, we were sitting eating some Lunch
and he said he wanted to make a DVD with me this year, so we started
talking about it exchanging Ideas and by the end of lunch we were
stoked to film a Movie together."
Now that doesn't exactly sound like he's all high and mighty on himself, instead it sounds like with support from Salomon (I assume) and a close friend with the capabilities to produce what is obviously going to be quite the movie Sammy has the chance to produce a project start to finish.
This leads to more control over his shot selection, the appearance and demeanor of the movie and a number of other benefits.
Everyone seems to have a problem with this, yet where is the complaints about Candide's movie?
I'm very excited for this and disappointed by everyone's reaction.
- How did you react to the "My friend is a Pro" intro?
To tell you the truth, Its hard for me to Get you guys to understand the whole thing
am Just a Kid who loves skiing, I didnt get why they wanted to make fun
of that. It pissed me off at first for sure, because I always try and
be cool to Kolby and give him respect when I see him, then he disses me
in his video.
He told me he wants me to make a video dissing him back and have a battle, Im no comedian Im a skier,
I will Battle him on my skis, Ha Im not going to waste my time. I got my energy focused right now.
Now, it doesnt bother me, I think the video is weak, hes just hating!
Its on, skiing better then ever thats all that matters to me :)
I touched Henrik's pole, it was a once in a lifetime opportunity! One of the highlights of my life!-purpledrank (He then missed the bus back from Hood as he tried to get Henrik's autograph.)
va jay jayyyyyy, the word slips the lips, no pun intended bitches i'm just tryin ta move ya hips, yea...my name's logan, afterbangin like brogan, not with the skis with the ladies, got at least ten babies-sirfyrantor
I'm stoked on the movie, even though it looks kinda boring and cliche to me.
But I really hate that logo... I'm a design major and the first thing that stood out to me is how the title looks like "Can't StoN" clarity in a logo is super important, for such an easy fix why didn't RTP fix that?
Skiing is like sex. you can't judge it by how fast or asteticly pleasing it is. Only by the enjoyment of those participating.
I'm excited for this. Although the trailer wasn't incredible Sammy is one of my favourite skiers so I'm sure it will be sick. And I think it's really cool that he is filming with Seamus and Willie, it'll be a great start for them.
